In conjunction with John A. Logan College and volunteers, this service enables seniors 60 or older to pursue classes of special interest to them.Cost:
There is no cost for tuition, but there is a fee for registration and supplies.Other Opportunties
There are two computers available in the Herrin center for Internet usage and E-mail. Seniors may work with the user manuals to explore and learn.We also offer a on-site painting class that is staffed by an Art Instructor from John. A. Logan.
There is a review over the Rules of the Road to assist the elderly in their Driver's License test provided by the Secretary of State's Office. Twice a year, Defensive Driving classes are given; however, there is a fee for this class.
